Welcome to my website!

A first-generation Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, USA.  With a Ph.D. in Economics from Colorado State University (USA), an MSc in Economics from Umeå University (Sweden), an MBA from Copperbelt University (Zambia), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Zambia.

I am interested in Development Economics, particularly early childhood conditions and child poverty. My Ph.D. dissertation investigated the link between access to services and later life outcomes in some low- and middle-income countries. I'm excited to start on new research projects. I am especially committed to issues related to three themes: expanding my ongoing development economics projects, African development and exploring global public health.

When not doing academia, I like to travel with my lovely wife, Michelo. I enjoy good food, music, and sports.
